The President is Joseph A. Stapelfeldt: Austrian born, German educated and Italian design degree.
JS has lived and worked in Australia, USA, Europe and now for almost 10 years in China.
In the 70's, JS developed a Designer Company "Mooditalia" in Australia comprising of several Stores and a Wholesale Business. The goods were designer avant-garde Clothing and Accessories. International Stars frequented the Stores, amongst them Tina Turner, Kenny Rogers and wife of Sir Elton John to name just a few. JS also designed the now famous leather Jacket worn by Michael Jackson in his Thriller video.
In the 80's JS then developed a Designer Company under his own Name Joseph Alexander. The fashions were designer leather Clothing and were sold in the best of US Stores nationwide. In 1986 JS took part in the South American Fashion awards winning in Designer Category.
In the 90's JS owned and operated the Luggage Company "York Germany". This company was a subsidiary of the defunct York Luggage Company of the USA and at the time was the 2nd largest Luggage Company in the world.
JS sold his Company in 1999 and moved to Hong kong and later to Xiamen, China. Since then they have provided design and manufacturing services to well known Global Brands in many Product Categories including Children, School, Business, Travel, Sports, Outdoor, Accessories, some Military, Police & Fire brigade articles as well as industrial sub production. This business is currently prospering through his Hong Kong Company - Global Collection Holdings LTD. From specific and detailed production requests to massive OEM capacity, GCH are meeting all market demands with business growing 20% each of the 7 consecutive years!
Xiamen Yee Tai Trading Co. LTD. is yet another venture of JS entrepreneurial conquests. This company is co-owned by JS Chinese wife, bother and sister in law whereas XYTT Co.Ltd owns our own Factory in Quanzhou near Xiamen. The Company's strength is to be able to export our entire production efforts completely by ourselves, allowing our customers to deal from start to finish with a single entity.
In late 2009 JS decided to design and develop his own Brand again after an up send of almost 10 years.
JS Name proved to be too long however so a shortened version of his name "Joe Stadt" was developed.
Joe Stadt products stand for German design with future vision, multifunctionality, super light weight,
high tech & environmentally friendly.
